
Bio
Ryan Katz is an articling student in the Toronto office of Gowling WLG. He earned his JD from Osgoode Hall Law School and his MBA from the Schulich School of Business.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a Minor in Political Science from Concordia University in Montreal. During law school, he completed a semester abroad in Hong Kong, where he developed a strong interest in Asian markets and cross-border business. He previously served as an executive of the Osgoode Hall Jewish Law Students Association and completed a semester at Parkdale Community Legal Services, where he represented low-income tenants before the Landlord and Tenant Board.
Ryan has entrepreneurial experience, having founded and operated a residential painting business. He has also worked on management and strategic consulting projects for companies in Chile and Brazil, further strengthening his global business perspective.
He has a growing interest in corporate and commercial law, particularly in the context of international transactions and emerging markets. His background in business, combined with his developing corporate practice, enables him to support clients across a wide range of transactional and advisory matters.
