Legal apprenticeship programme
How to become a legal advisor
With the biggest and the best
During our two-year Paralegal Trailblazer programme you become a trained legal professional who works independently and as part of a team for household names.
That may sound frightening, but very quickly you'll feel comfortable working alongside some of the world's biggest companies and learn from the best legal minds in their field.
For this purpose, we help you develop your skills in conducting legal research and networking. You also take part in law and legal practice training, supplied by the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, and aimed at gaining nationally recognised qualifications.
"Gowling WLG and CILEx Law School are proud to welcome the largest single intake of paralegal apprentices since apprenticeships were launched in 2013."

Where you go from there
This makes for an enticing start to a legal career. Once you've completed the apprenticeship, you have the option to further enhance your career, because now you can continue to work as a paralegal and, if you choose:
- Take an additional four-year apprenticeship to become a chartered legal executive; or
- Start an additional six-year apprenticeship and become a qualified solicitor
