On November 8, 2021, Landing AI™ announced a Series A financing of US$57 million led by McRock Capital, which included investments by Insight Partners, Taiwania Capital, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments), Intel Capital, Samsung Catalyst Fund, Far Eastern Group's DRIVE Catalyst, Walsin Lihwa, and AI Fund.

Landing AI provides tools that make building and deploying AI systems in manufacturing faster and easier than ever. The new investment will be used to accelerate product innovation as well as grow engineering and operations teams within Landing AI, including engineering, product, sales, and marketing.

McRock is an institutional investor focused on industrial IoT, the first investment firm to focus exclusively on this sector.

Derek Keay of Gowling WLG advised McRock Capital with respect to Canadian law and Fund matters in connection with this Series A financing round.
