Our corporate restructuring and insolvency practice has led a multidisciplinary team advising e-commerce retailer AHK Designs Ltd (an affiliate of our client Giomani Designs) on its acquisition of the business and assets of Victoria Plum, the UK's largest online bathroom retailer.

The business was acquired from administrators from EY for an undisclosed sum. This is the third such transaction we have acted on for the Giomani group this year, following its earlier acquisitions from administration of Cox & Cox and Moda Furnishings.

Our team worked to an extremely tight timescale to complete the contract for the client - from start to completion in just 36 hours. Partners Tom Pringle and Jasvir Jootla led on the advice, supported by senior associate, Emily Rust with essential support from the IP, real estate, employment, tax, environment and financial services teams.

Tom Pringle said: "It was a pleasure to work with AHK and the Giomani group on this acquisition, delivering a great result for both our client and the Victoria Plum business. It was a fantastic team effort from across the firm and our client to complete the transaction to save the Victoria Plum brand on an extremely tight timescale."
