02 mai 2019

Gowling WLG has taken top spot in the rankings for its number of FTSE AIM 100 clients for this quarter.

Data from Adviser Rankings for Q2 2019 show the firm has moved up from joint-third place in the table last quarter to take first place with eight clients.

Gowling WLG has also increased its advantage at the head of the Basic Materials table after its appointment by Sylvania Platinum, and is in second place for the total number of AIM clients (46) and Client Market Cap.

Corporate partner Sunil Kakkad said: "We're pleased to have strengthened our strong position in the AIM market.

"We never take such achievements lightly and instead, see them as triggers to maintain and where possible, enhance what are already excellent standards of client service delivery.

"While we continue to have a range of clients, the focus over the last six months has been very much around the larger market cap companies on AIM and making some headway using our strength and expertise on the AIM market."

Gowling WLG is recognised for its leading position in the AIM market and investment funds, acting for AIM companies and advises issuers, investment management houses and the investment banks and brokers that advise them. It brings together experts in tax, corporate, finance, regulatory and dispute resolution to provide a full legal service to its client.

The firm's full AIM client list can be seen on Adviser Rankings.
