Forty-one Gowling WLG lawyers from the firm's UK LLP have been named 'Best Lawyers®' in the 11th Edition of the global peer review publication, with three named as 'Lawyer of the Year' for 2023.
Securing 44 rankings in total, lawyers from the firm's Birmingham and London offices are awarded the title of 'Best Lawyers® in the United Kingdom' for their legal expertise, as well as their ethics and professionalism of the highest calibre, named across 19 speciality areas including Real Estate, Financial Services, Public Sector, and Tech law.
The latest results include a further six rankings on the previous edition, with legal director Verity Barker (Arbitration and Mediation), partner Charles Bond (Mergers and Acquisitions Law), Of Counsel Clark Sargent (Litigation) and consultant Peter Thorne (Real Estate Law) named Best Lawyers® this year. Principal associates Aaron Dunning-Foreman (Pensions Practice), Kate Seaborne (Investment Funds and Private Equity), and Charlotte Scholes (Pensions Practice) are named "Ones to Watch" in 2023.
