Major win for Gowling WLG at the Managing IP EMEA 2022 awards

Gowling WLG's Intellectual Property (IP) team has won in a total four categories at the Managing IP (MIP) EMEA 2022 Awards.

Following shortlistings in eight categories in 2022, our global IP team was named 'UK Firm of the Year – Design' for an unprecedented fourth successive year, and 'UAE Firm of the Year – Prosecution' for a second time, following success in 2021. The team was also recognised by MIP as the 'European Cross-border Patent Litigation Team of the Year' and awarded 'Impact Case of the Year', for its work for client InterDigital.

MIP selects the winners of each category for their outstanding IP achievements and developments over the last year. The decision is based on a comprehensive firm submission, taking into account feedback from peers, clients and independent research.

These latest MIP awards successes follow the achievements of Gowling WLG's IP team in Canada at the MIP Americas Awards 2022, and recent recognition in the 2022 edition of the MIP "IP Stars" firmwide (Trademarks) and individual rankings.
