The Head of Gowling WLG's Dispute Resolution practice group in Germany, Mathias Wittinghofer, has been recommended in three categories in the Who's Who Legal: Arbitration 2024 guide.
The guide, published by Who's Who Legal (WWL) and Global Arbitration Review (GAR), recognises some of the world's foremost international arbitrators and arbitration practitioners through independent research and nominations from clients and peers.
Mathias recently joined the firm as a partner in Frankfurt, reinforcing Gowling WLG's international arbitration and litigation practices in Europe, and represents the firm's latest step in executing its growth strategy in Germany, welcoming a new team in Frankfurt earlier this year. Mathias is a leading commercial litigation and arbitration lawyer – both in Germany and internationally. He is a listed arbitrator at many international arbitration centres and institutes, and specifically focusses on the financial services, automotive and tech sectors.
Mathias is named in the WWL: Arbitration 2024 global guide for his expertise in resolving complex international disputes. He is also recognised in a further two WWL guides this year, including the 'Germany: Arbitration' and 'Germany: Commercial Litigation' lists of the leading lawyers in their field nationally.
