Leading international law firm Gowling WLG has won plaudits for both its commercial and legal clout in the latest Legal 500 UK results.
The firm has secured strong London and West Midlands rankings across its range of practices and sectors, including real estate, corporate, commercial, litigation and specialist service lines such as IT / technology, private capital, pensions and tax.
The firm secured two stand-alone first tier rankings in construction and intellectual property (IP). The IP team has been boosted by the firm's launch as Gowling WLG, bringing together leading IP practitioners in the UK, Munich, Canada, Russia, Dubai and China.
Twenty four of the firm's UK lawyers have been named as leading individuals (four listed for the first time) including Head of Real Estate - Richard Bate, Head of Life Sciences - Patrick Duxbury, Head of Energy - Derek Goodban and Bernardine Adkins, Head of EU, Trade and Competition.
