Global connectors: Gowling WLG plays a key role at 2019 Think Global conference

Invited by our forward-thinking partners at the City of Hamilton, alongside the Ontario Investment Alliance, Gowling WLG was pleased to attend the Think Global Conference in Chicago, Illinois last month.

Aaron Goldstein, an Associate at Gowling WLG, attended the conference alongside the Alliance to speak on the topic of doing business in Ontario and Canada.

The Think Global Conference, which took place October 22-23, brings together companies focused on import, export and international trade. New and existing manufacturers, importers and exporters attend the event to learn how to better capture international trade opportunities, and are provided a platform where they can connect with potential business partners, suppliers, investors and clients.

During his speaking session, Goldstein discussed the legal steps to establishing a corporate presence in Canada, which included business structure, taxation and immigration requirements.
