Gowling WLG moves to new permanent office in Leeds

Gowling WLG's Residential Development team in Leeds has moved into a new permanent office in the city.

The team, led by partner Julia Dacre Field, is now based at Globe Point in Temple Leeds after agreeing a long-term lease to occupy the fifth floor. The firm had previously been based at One Park Row in the city.

Gowling WLG strengthened its national-renowned housing development and regeneration (HDR) practice in 2022 when it launched in Leeds to better serve its national and northern-based residential development, social provider and regeneration clients. A team led Julia joined the firm, including Mark Owen (of counsel), Kathryn Wood, James Lawson (legal directors), Patrick Jackson and Emma Speight (principal associates) and Liam Turner (senior associate).

The firm's new offices include a high-quality workspace and terrace, ground floor amenities, event food and drink space.

Julia Dacre Field said: "We are thrilled to have moved into Globe Point – the workspace and general amenities are outstanding, and in a fantastic location. Our plan has always been to ensure that we have the right permanent space for our team in Leeds and we look forward to delivering for our clients and pursuing further growth in the market from our new home".
