Catherine Phillips

Catherine Phillips is responsible for developing our Banking and Finance Team's technical knowledge and resources. She provides the team with expert advice and support so that our lawyers can deliver the best possible service to our clients.

Catherine is a highly experienced banking and finance specialist. She worked as a transactional lawyer in the Banking and Finance team for many years before taking up her role as a Professional Support Lawyer in 2013. Her expertise includes leveraged finance, acquisition finance, securitisation transactions and asset finance plus good and bad book refinancing, restructuring and insolvency disposals. Catherine's background means that she understands the team's need to be able to provide commercially-focused advice that is delivered as quickly and efficiently as possible and she is dedicated to helping the team to achieve this. She shares technical expertise outside of the team by writing articles and delivering training within the firm and to our clients.
