Claire Strong is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Waterloo office.
Claire is completing her JD at Western University Faculty of Law where she has developed a strong interest in corporate law. While in law school, Claire acts as a Case Manager at Western’s Sport Solution Clinic. In this role, she assists Canada’s Olympic and high-performance athletes with their legal matters such as team selection and safe sport complaints. She also built her advocacy skills through moot competitions including the Canadian National Negotiation Competition and the Davies Corporate Securities Moot.
Claire is involved in student mentorship programs for the Ontario Justice Education Program and Western Law. She is also an active member in the sports community at Western, involved in slo-pitch, flag football, and pickleball intramurals.
Prior to law school, Claire completed her Bachelor of Business Management and Organizational Studies, with a focus on Management and Legal Studies at Western University.
