Clément Stacey

Clément Stacey is an associate in Gowling WLG's Toronto office, practising in the firm's Real Estate and Financial Services Department. His work focuses on assisting clients in the acquisition and disposition of commercial and industrial real estate. He is also developing a practice in financial services regulation, including regulatory advice for mortgage brokerages, and PropTech.

Clément also has over five years of experience working in business and development, most recently as a business development manager with the firm's global intellectual property (IP) practice, taking a strategic approach to growing the firm's work and client base in this area. Prior to this role, Clément worked with the firm's International Board, advising on client opportunities in international markets.

Whilst completing his legal education in Canada, France and the United Kingdom, Clément also obtained a certificate in the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) Military Leadership Development Programme (MLDP), which is designed to teach individuals leadership, teamwork and critical thinking skills.

Outside of law, Clément is an avid soccer player. He has seen first hand how the power of the sport can bring people together and promote a good cause. In 2018, Clément organized a charity tournament in support of the International Development and Relief Foundation (IDRF).
