Cristie Sutherland

Cristie Sutherland is the director of legal talent for Gowling WLG (Canada) LLP. She has the firm-wide responsibility of overseeing the talent development programs for associates and students. Cristie contributes to the firm's overall people & talent strategy by leading and directing the activities of the talent management team to create and deliver comprehensive programs for the recruitment, development, and retention of associate lawyers and students.

Prior to her role as director of legal talent, Cristie was the director of associate & student programs for Gowling WLG's Calgary office, and a former employment and labour lawyer.

She joined the firm in 2001.
