Bio

Dan advises a variety of investors and developers in respect of all types of real estate assets.

He has extensive experience advising institutional investors and developers in relation to shopping centre, retail warehouse, logistics, industrial and office investments and developments.

Dan's broad based practice and diverse investment sector experience enable him to advise effectively on a variety of investment, development, asset management and leasing matters and to fully understand the different needs and perspectives of investors, developers, lenders and tenants.

Dan is recognised as a leading legal voice on investment and office issues, and has written articles and co-authorised 'A More Flexible Future: Redefining The Role Of The Office' with the BPF.

Advised NFU Mutual on its investment into a series of large, premium build-to-rent (BTR) developments across the UK.
Advised NFU Mutual on its sale of a portfolio of prime logistics assets to Barings for £234 million.
Advised private pension fund provider Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS), on its £300 million acquisition of the real estate assets of Butlin's.
Advised NFU Mutual in its £75 million forward commitment purchase to develop 235,000 sq ft of industrial units at the Base in Crawley, East Sussex.
Advised NFU Mutual on its investment in £100 million worth of new warehousing, equating to six new logistics facilities throughout the UK.
Advised Universities Superannuation Scheme on its £400 million investment in BP's forecourt portfolio.
Acting for AXA and GIC in relation to the £252m disposal of Thomas More Square London.
Acting for Universities Superannuation Scheme in relation to a £222m joint venture with Tesco plc in respect of a portfolio of UK supermarket stores.
Acting for NFU Mutual and Salmon Harvester Properties in relation to the ongoing development and letting of office development projects at Glass Wharf, Temple Quay Bristol.
Acting for AXA Real Assets in relation to the £82m acquisition , financing and ongoing development, letting and asset management in respect of Assembly (77 Fulham Palace Road) London.
Acting for Universities Superannuation Scheme on its £442m sale of Telford Shopping Centre.
Advising AXA Real Assets, Friends Life Limited and DMI Properties in relation to an ongoing 1.9m square feet employment development scheme and associated highway proposals at Sevington West, Ashford, Kent.
