
Bio
Dimitra Kolios is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office, focusing her work with the Advocacy Group.
Dimitra is entering her third year of the JD program at Osgoode Hall Law School. During her studies, she has volunteered with Artists’ Legal Advice Services and served as a clinic fellow at both the Intellectual Property Innovation Clinic and ElevateIP/Communitech. In these roles, she supported a range of creators, from independent musicians to tech startups, by helping them navigate legal needs to foster growth and innovation.
Prior to entering law school, Dimitra studied anthropology and art history at McGill University. During her undergraduate studies, she co-founded the Critical Media Club, a student-led initiative focused on ethnographic filmmakers and academics working in the documentary arts.
In her spare time, Dimitra enjoys visiting art galleries, golfing and travelling.
