Fabiola Alvarez

Fabiola Alvarez is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Waterloo Region office.

Fabiola earned her JD from the University of Ottawa, and studied in the English Common Law program. While obtaining her JD, she volunteered with the Women's Legal Education and Action Fund, facilitating workshops and educating youth on consent laws in Canada.

Prior to law school, Fabiola graduated from the University of Waterloo with a BA in Legal Studies and Sociology from the co-operative program. During this time, she was actively involved in the residence life community and worked as a Spanish teaching assistant.

Fabiola is interested in real estate and commercial law. She aspires to help clients find creative solutions to legal issues.

Outside of work, Fabiola played varsity rugby and continues to be passionate about fitness and sports. She enjoys spinning, hiking, and kayaking along the Grand River.
