Fabiola Alvarez

Fabiola Alvarez is an associate in the Business Law Group in Gowling WLG's Waterloo Region office.

Fabiola practices primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, general corporate matters and commercial real estate.

Fabiola completed her JD at the University of Ottawa in the English Common Law program. While obtaining her JD, she volunteered with the Women's Legal Education and Action Fund, facilitating workshops and educating youth on consent laws in Canada.

Prior to attending law school, Fabiola graduated from the University of Waterloo with a bachelor of arts in Legal Studies and Sociology in the co-operative program. During this time, she was actively involved in the residence life community.
