Francesca Gimson

Francesca Gimson is an associate in the firm's Vancouver office, practising in the Business Law Group.

Francesca maintains a broad practice in corporate commercial, tax, and private client matters. She has experience with mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and estates and trusts law issues. She also has experience with a wide range of general corporate matters, including business structuring considerations, incorporations, continuations, dissolutions, minority shareholder issues, share transmissions, and corporate governance.

Francesca currently serves on the Recruitment Committee of Gowling WLG's Vancouver office.

Francesca joined the firm in 2020 as a summer student and returned as an articling student in 2021. She obtained her JD from the University of Alberta and her BSc and MA from the University of British Columbia. Throughout her education she was involved in various musical endeavours, including co-directing the band for the University of Alberta's annual Law Show, and maintains a passion for music and the arts.
