Gurinder Mann

Gurinder Mann is a partner in our real estate finance group and has extensive experience acting for lenders (including alternative lenders and traditional financial institutions) and borrowers on complex and highly structured investment and development financings on a wide range of asset classes. Gurinder has a particular focus on house-builders, self-storage and office blocks as well as across the retail, industrial, build to rent/sell, affordable housing and hotel sectors in the UK.

Given the broad nature of Gurinder's practice, he has acted for a number of and varied range of borrowers and has a deep understanding of the types of issues that borrowers (and borrower groups) have to contend with on secured real estate financings – and the potential pitfalls.

Gurinder has also spent significant time during his legal career within internal legal functions and leading financial institutions. As a result of that experience, he has a clear understanding of processes, approach and the manner in which traditional financial institutions operate and function on a day to day basis – which is invaluable for both lender and borrower clients.

He also has experience in restructuring distressed real estate finance deals in the UK and cross-border.
