Heather Fisher

Heather Fisher is an associate in Gowling WLG's Toronto office, practising in the firm's Advocacy department. Her practise focuses on commercial litigation, including product liability, municipal liability and class actions, as well as insolvency and restructuring law. Heather's experience also extends to administrative tribunals, including representing clients at the Landlord and Tenant Board and various university tribunals.

She is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, where she served as senior editor of the Osgoode Hall Law Journal and was awarded fourth place (team and factum) at the Laskin Moot Competition. While studying at Osgoode, Heather was the president of the Legal & Literary Society, senator to York University and director of external communications/networking for the Osgoode Women's Network.

Heather volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario's Free Legal Advice Hotline and Small Claims Duty Counsel program.
