Jaclyn Mansfield is an associate and member of Gowling WLG’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group based in Vancouver. She maintains a diverse corporate and commercial litigation practice, representing clients in business disputes involving shareholders, contracts, real property, insolvency, and debt recovery matters.
With a background in commerce and economics, Jaclyn brings a practical, business-focused approach to her practice. She regularly appears before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and has significant trial experience, including as lead counsel. Jaclyn is also a strong advocate for alternative dispute resolution, using negotiation and mediation where they best serve her clients’ interests.
Jaclyn was born and raised on the North Shore and attended the University of British Columbia (UBC), where she earned both her law degree and Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Economics. During her time at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC, Jaclyn volunteered for the Law Students Legal Advice Program (LSLAP), participated in the Ian Fletcher International Insolvency Law Moot in Sydney, Australia, and was awarded the course prize in Personal Injury Law.
Before joining Gowling WLG, Jaclyn practised at a boutique and full-service firm in Vancouver, gaining broad experience across commercial and civil litigation.
Outside of the office, Jaclyn enjoys board game nights, exploring new restaurants, and taking her cat, Elvis, for walks.
