Jada Perkins

Jada is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Calgary office. She is a born and raised Calgarian and a 2023 University of Calgary law school graduate. Following her first year of law school, she was a summer legal intern at the Alberta Utilities Commission.

Prior to law school, Jada obtained a BA in psychology with distinction from the University of Calgary. Throughout university, Jada has been involved in Olympic-style weightlifting. She has represented team Alberta in several competitions, including at the Canadian Junior and Senior National Championships. She also captained various U of C Law sports teams in both intramural dodgeball and at the inaugural softball tournament.

Throughout her legal studies, Jada was a volunteer for the Consent Project at Pro Bono Students Canada. Jada has also been an active volunteer with the Alberta Children's Hospital for over 10 years as a part of the music therapy program.
