Utility Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)

• Advised Statkraft on its 6GW+ PPA portfolio, including PPAs in respect of some of the largest renewables projects in Great Britain – Seagreen (1.1GW), Dudgeon (400MW) and Crystal Rig I and II (200.5 MW).
• Advised Axpo on its template renewables PPA and negotiated a wide range of renewables PPAs – including in respect of RO, CfD and subsidy free projects.
• Advised Danske Commodities on its template renewables PPA and negotiated baseload and intermittent renewables PPAs, which include highly innovative bespoke pricing arrangements.
• Advised independent generators, including Ecotricity, Grid Essence, Primrose Solar and Infinis on PPAs in respect of their projects covering technologies including EfW, wind, solar and gas, and with many of the major active offtakers.

Corporate PPAs

• Advised Vodafone on two corporate PPAs with Energiekontor (the developer/generator of the projects) and the commercial arrangements with Vodafone's electricity supplier.
• Advised Squeaky on multiple renewables corporate PPAs, including aggregated purchasing arrangements.
• Advised Brockwell Energy on a corporate PPA in respect of a large onshore wind farm in Scotland.

Electricity and Gas Supply terms

• Advised Conrad Energy on template electricity supply terms (including flexible supply terms and terms applicable for micro-business supply).
• Advised SmartestEnergy on the development of supply terms, which include flexible aggregated pricing mechanisms.
• Advised Co-op Energy on the creation of "white label" supply arrangements.
• Advised large energy consumers on their energy supply contracts, including Vauxhall, Tate & Lyle, Virtus Data Centres, and major retailers.
• Advised generators, battery operators, demand-customers and aggregators (including supply licensees) on arrangements for the provision of Balancing Services, either directly with system operators or via aggregation arrangements.

Optimisation Agreements

• Advised VEST Energy on its template optimisation agreement and negotiated the agreement with multiple developers.
• Advised Habitat Energy on the negotiation of optimisation agreements in respect of large scale BESS projects.
• Advised Eelpower on multiple optimisation agreements.

Anaerobic Digestion

• Advised a global pharmaceuticals company on corporate green gas purchase agreements.
• Advised Ancala Biogen on its £60 million acquisition of five operational anaerobic digestion projects across England and Scotland from The Ingenious Group.

Heat Networks

• Advised the Royal Borough of Greenwich on the development of a heat network, including the primary concession agreement and heat supply agreements.
• Advised the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham on heat network development in its borough.
• Advised E.on on the development of multiple heat networks across the country.

Energy Trading

• Advised on the major forms of GB energy trading documentation - including GTMAs, ISDAs, EFETs, NBPs, master agreements and associated credit support documents on behalf of a wide range of clients.
• Advised Gresham House in respect of its partnership with Environment Bank Ltd to introduce a first-to-market compliance solution driving biodiversity net gain.

Energy Codes

• Advised Alt Han Co on the procurement of technologies to facilitate the smart meter roll-out in hard to reach premises, negotiating contracts with technology providers, operational services providers and GB energy suppliers (who are ultimately responsible for the procurement).
• Advised Ofgem on the development of the Retail Energy Code.
• Advised code managers on several of the energy codes, including the Smart Energy Code, DCUSA, MRA, SMICoP and SPAA.
