Jennifer Mak

Jennifer Mak is the general manager of Gowling WLG's Toronto office. In this role, she oversees all non-legal activities within the office, including human resources, marketing, accounting and finance, office services, knowledge management, and facilities.

With 18 years' experience working in operations and business management at PwC Canada, Jennifer held progressively senior roles such as chief of staff to the national managing partner of markets and chief of staff to the CEO. She served as the secretary for the PwC Canada Partnership Board. Jennifer developed and managed complex national strategic projects to support business growth and employee engagement. 

Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Jennifer served as the chief operating officer for a mid-sized accounting firm in Toronto.

Jennifer obtained a bachelor of commerce from the University of Toronto. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
