Bio
Jessie Bernard is a law clerk in the Advocacy Group of Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office.
Jessie is responsible for drafting a wide range of documents, including affidavit of documents, affidavits in support of motions and applications, motion and application records, undertakings, and compendiums. She prepares documents for all levels of court, including the Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of appeal, Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Jessie obtained a bachelor’s degree in law and legal studies from Carleton University and completed the law clerk program at Algonquin College. She previously worked as a law clerk for a firm in Ottawa specializing in civil litigation.
Jessie is fluent in both English and French.
