Jessie Zheng

Jessie Zheng is a law clerk in Gowling WLG's Calgary office.

A licensed immigration consultant, Jessie facilitates temporary and permanent entry to Canada for the firm's corporate and individual clients, working closely with their human resource departments on a wide range of complex Canadian immigration and citizenship matters. These include permanent residence applications, work permits, study permits, temporary resident visas, Canadian citizenships, Labour Market Impact Assessments, passport matters, and admissions to Canada pursuant to the North America Free Trade Agreement and other international treaties.

Her role finds her in regular contact with officers of several federal immigration agencies, including Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada; Service Canada; and the Canada Border Services Agency; as well as Canadian immigration offices throughout Canada and abroad.

Fluent in English and Mandarin, Jessie frequently serves as a liaison between Chinese clients and Gowling WLG lawyers on a variety of business development and legal issues. She also assists clients with document translation.
