Bio
Jill Crich is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office.
Jill is currently completing her JD at Toronto Metropolitan University. During her studies, Jill has participated in competitive moots, where she won the award for Best Appellant Team and Top Oralist at the McCarthy Tétrault Cup and competed in the Harold G. Fox Moot. She also serves as the intellectual property events officer for the Property Law Society.
Jill has prior professional experience in the life sciences industry, where she was involved in the development and execution of global and national market access strategies for products in the areas of oncology and infectious disease.
Prior to entering law school, Jill earned a master of science in law from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where she focused on pharmaceutical regulation and intellectual property. She also graduated from Western University, where she obtained an Honours bachelor of science degree with a double major in microbiology and immunology, and biology.
Jill will focus her summer term in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group.
