
Bio
Lauren Hass is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office, focusing on intellectual property litigation.
Lauren earned her JD from the University of Ottawa. During law school, she completed an internship at the Samuelson-Glushko Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic (CIPPIC), where she worked on issues at the intersection of artificial intelligence and intellectual property, including legal research and policy analysis. Lauren also served on the Technology Law Committee, contributing to discussions on emerging legal and regulatory challenges in the technology sector.
Prior to law school, Lauren earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from the University of Guelph, providing her with a strong technical foundation that supports her work in complex IP matters.
