Rong, based in Guangzhou office, heads the non-contentious team in China. An astute lateral thinker with sound commercial acumen, Rong fully understands key commercial drivers and is able to provide both innovative and pragmatic legal advice as a result.

Being native Chinese and having lived and worked in Europe for extensive periods of time, Rong has a truly global mindset. She is a native speaker of Cantonese and Mandarin, and is also fluent in English and French. Rong is able to lend her in-depth international legal knowledge to overcoming the language and cultural barriers that global businesses often face, providing creative and commercial solutions to clients operating across borders.

Rong has a proven track record in advising European clients on a variety of non-contentious matters. Her experience extends from setting up corporate vehicles, acquiring Chinese companies, advising on commercial law-related queries such as import license, e-commerce, etc. for European companies to drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts. She also has rich experience of advising clients on employment issues.
