Bio
Meagan Auger is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Vancouver office.
Meagan completed her juris doctor at the Peter A. Allard School of Law (UBC).
Prior to law school, Meagan received an Honours BSc in microbiology from the University of Victoria, her MSc in neuroscience from McGill University and her PhD in neuroscience from the University of British Columbia.
During law school, Meagan was awarded the Law Foundation of British Columbia Public Interest Award and the Jack T. Edwards Memorial Award for excellence in a clinical education program for her participation in the UBC Innocence Project. Meagan is passionate about the intersection of law with science, particularly in the area of intellectual property. She worked as a legal research assistant during law school on a project related to novel technologies and tort law, and on another project related to property law and community development.
