Bio
Nicole Sapieha is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Vancouver office.
Nicole earned her juris doctor degree from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. During her studies, Nicole spent a semester abroad at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands.
Prior to her legal studies, Nicole obtained an Honours bachelor of business administration at Okanagan College. Nicole’s undergraduate experience included a semester abroad in Jyväskylä, Finland, and culminated in a capstone project for North America’s leading greenhouse manufacturer, where she analyzed the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on consumer purchasing behaviours.
Alongside Nicole’s academic achievements, she served as the president of Enactus Okanagan College, where she honed her leadership skills and entrepreneurial spirit. Throughout her time in law school, Nicole volunteered as an academic peer tutor and was an active member of the Allard Law Women’s Caucus.
While pursuing both her undergraduate and law degrees, Nicole gained valuable experience working with BC’s leading business resource organization for women. She also worked as a summer law student with the in-house counsel team at a global real estate company.
Nicole’s achievements have earned her various accolades and scholarships, including the Allan McEachern Memorial Scholarship in Law and the Gerald Donegan, QC Course Prize in Canadian Constitutional Law and the HSBC Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Award.
