Richard has over 30 years' experience in assisting clients in the acquisition, development, asset management and disposal of large and complex real estate assets with a particular focus on advising real estate investors and developers.

He is a specialist in commercial and mixed use real estate matters, spending a significant amount of his time advising on all aspects of retail real estate. The scale of the developments he works on are transformative, creating and expanding communities

Highlights of the Year

• Advising Bracknell Regeneration LP on the next stage of its regeneration of Bracknell town centre having acted since the initial site acquisition in 1996 through planning, CPO, site assembly, development and asset management (including the grant of over 60 leases in the redeveloped scheme) to create a shopping and leisure destination of 580,000 square feet.
• Advising BMW and L&G on the redevelopment and letting to a US company of a 48,000 sq ft office development in Windsor with the subsequent sale to the tenant.
• Individual sales of all real estate assets of a pension fund client over a two year period
• Corporate sale of a shopping centre having originally acquired the asset 20 years ago and subsequently refurbished, asset managed and transferred into a corporate structure)
