Stephanie Harvey

Stephanie Harvey is a partner and lending lawyer in Gowling WLG's Hamilton office, and a member of the firm's Financial Institutions & Services Group.

With more than a decade of experience in financial services law, Stephanie focuses her practice on corporate and commercial lending, with an emphasis on mid-market transactions. Scrupulous and highly efficient, she approaches her work with a sophisticated understanding of Canada's lending regulatory environment, as well as a thorough grasp on the commercial realities facing her clients every day.

Over the course of her career, Stephanie has helped lenders and borrowers alike successfully navigate a range of complex, and often high-stakes, lending transactions – including secured, asset-backed and equipment financing transactions.

Stephanie complements her practice with an extensive background in recovery services law, particularly with respect to the rights and remedies of mortgage lenders. This background has afforded her a full-lifecycle perspective of the lending transactions she helps bring to fruition, further ensuring her clients have access to the very best advice – no matter the task at hand.
