Stephanie Hayes

Stephanie is a partner in Gowling WLG's Waterloo Region office, practising corporate/commercial law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. Stephanie is also a member of the firm's Tech, Capital Markets and M&A groups. She provides advice to Canadian and international clients on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, debt and equity financing matters, and general corporate and commercial issues.

Stephanie is an active director of a not-for-profit association that is focused on teaching youth financial literacy, entrepreneurship and workplace readiness.

Stephanie completed both her Canadian and American Juris Doctors as part of the dual program with the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law and University of Detroit Mercy, School of Law. She previously obtained her honours bachelor of arts in English with a business administration option degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
