
Bio
William Rosenberger is a summer law student at Gowling WLG's Calgary office. Entering his second year at the University of Calgary Faculty of Law, he holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with first-class honours from the University of Alberta, along with a certificate in biomedical research.
During his first year of law school, William volunteered with Student Legal Assistance, providing legal information and representation to low-income clients in various civil matters. He also edited articles for Calgary Legal Guidance, helping to improve access to information for vulnerable Albertans. Lastly, William participated in the McGillivray Moot Competition at the University of Calgary Faculty of Law, where he honed his oral advocacy skills.
Before pursuing law, William completed a Co-Op internship with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, where he used mass spectrometry to quantify volatile organic compounds. He also performed additional research on collagen helices, and pre-mRNA processing.
William has a keen interest in intellectual property law, and he is eager to leverage his life sciences background when guiding clients through this ever-changing legal landscape.
Outside of law, William enjoys reading a variety of topics, including economics, history, and classical literature. He is also an enthusiastic L.A. Kings fan.
