Frédéric Lussier is a partner in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office who practises in the Intellectual Property Litigation Group, with a focus on patent litigation and dispute resolution.
Frédéric has acquired experience managing complex pharmaceutical patent litigation files, including actions and applications under the PM(NOC) Regulations. He has represented parties on both sides of IP disputes, developing litigation strategies to assert parties' respective IP and business rights.
He has appeared as counsel before the Federal Court of Appeal and Federal Court of Canada, where he appeared in both English and French. He has represented clients in proceedings in both the Federal Courts and the Ontario Superior Court systems, at the trial and appellate levels.
Prior to his legal studies, Frédéric obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering, and worked at some of Canada's most prominent technology companies performing hardware analysis, as well as working with business intelligence software. He is fluent in French and English and practises law in both languages.
