Nathan Lean

Nathan Lean is a litigation associate in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office.

Nathan represents clients in complex litigation, arbitration and adjudication, with a focus on construction, real property disputes, and commercial and residential tenancies.

Over ten years of practice, Nathan has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, the Court of Appeal for Ontario and various administrative bodies. This broad experience allows him to advocate effectively in a variety of legal forums and to tailor litigation strategies to the unique demands of each case.

In addition to his regular litigation practice, Nathan is actively involved in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office’s pro bono initiatives.

Nathan is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association, and is also active in the Ottawa construction community.

Outside of the office, Nathan is a busy father who enjoys playing chess and growing the hottest peppers possible.
