Nicolas Dubé is a partner in Gowling WLG’s Montréal office. His practice focuses on litigation, guiding clients in a variety of projects and advising businesses. Nicolas also provides support to the firm's business law teams, notably in transactional, real estate and financing matters in the environment and energy sectors.
Throughout his years of practise, he has developed special skills relating to environmental, energy, administrative and public law. Nicolas’ experience in the energy sector includes the regulation of the production, storage, transport, delivery and sale of renewable energies.
Nicolas holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, with a focus on actuarial science from the University of Montréal. Before starting his law career, he worked in a major pan-Canadian actuarial firm.
He began his professional career with the firm in 2008 as a summer student, and continued as an articling student and associate.
Nicolas practises law in English and French.
