Quinn Rochon

Quinn Rochon is an associate in Gowling WLG's Vancouver office. He works in the firm's Advocacy Department and is a member of the Environmental and Indigenous Law practice groups. His practice focuses on a wide range of environmental, commercial, and rights-based disputes and negotiations.
As a member of the Environmental Group, Quinn advises clients on regulatory compliance matters as well as civil, regulatory and quasi-criminal environmental defence.
In his Indigenous practice, Quinn works on regulatory compliance matters, including projects in relation to which Crown's duty to consult Indigenous Peoples is engaged. Quinn also acts for clients engaged in government-to-government and commercial negotiations involving Indigenous communities, industry, and government.
Quinn joined the firm as a summer student in 2019 and completed his articles in 2021. He earned a JD with a specialization in environmental law and sustainability from the University of Victoria's Faculty of Law.
Prior to law school, Quinn completed a BA in economics and psychology at UBC Okanagan, where he also worked as a tutor in economics and research assistant in the field of environmental economics.
Between his undergraduate studies and JD, Quinn worked in sales and business development at a high-growth technology company, in customer service in the outdoor sports industry and co-founded a non-profit that serves the local Vancouver community.
Away from work, Quinn skis, mountain bikes and surfs.
