Simon is a partner based in our Dubai office focusing on transactions in the Energy & Infrastructure and Technology sectors.

Simon is a trusted advisor to government sector clients, multi-national corporations and regional/international sponsors on a wide range of complex, cross-border M&A, JV and projects transactions across the Middle East and North Africa region.

Simon's recent experience includes advising Aberdeen Investcorp Infrastructure Partners (a GCC-based sustainability fund) on their acquisition of interests in multiple GCC-based infrastructure assets. Simon has also led on advising a Strategic Development Fund (part of the EDGE Group) on numerous strategic cross-border investments and related UAE-based joint ventures in the technology/advanced manufacturing sector.

Simon has significant experience in the energy infrastructure sector, advising on sponsor-side matters on P3 and bilateral projects in the Middle East and Africa region, acting for and also being involved in acting for government authorities focusing on the corporate aspects of such transactions (including sponsor shareholders' and consortium arrangements).
