As a junior member of the team, you will not be 'pigeon holed' into a particular aspect of the work we do. We encourage our lawyers to develop expertise across the full range of our practice area.
Whether defending a client in a cartel investigation, navigating parties through national merger control regimes or advising large multi-nationals on how to defend claims before the High Court or Competition Appeal Tribunal, we need to be in tune with our clients' worlds. All members of our team are given the opportunity to get beneath the skin of our clients' businesses, developing an in-depth understanding of the markets they work in and their commercial priorities.
If you wish to push yourself as a lawyer then we may be the team for you. We pride ourselves on being at the cutting edge of our practice area and that is reflected in the nature of the cases we take on and in our expectations of all team members.
We want our lawyers to invest in themselves which means engaging with the subject matter to be the best they can be. That said you will have the support you need to perform to a high standard and develop your skills as a lawyer. As well as the general supervision you will receive, we carry out regular training sessions and, on qualification, our lawyers enroll on the Postgraduate diploma in EU, Competition Law at King's College London.
