Absorb Software completes cross-border acquisition eLogic Learning

On August 7, 2019, Absorb Software Inc., a portfolio company of Silversmith Capital Partners, announced the acquisition of eLogic Learning.

Absorb Software is a learning technology company based in Calgary, Alberta, with global offices in London, Dublin, Shanghai, Sydney, Boston, Tampa and Salt Lake City.

eLogic Learning, based in Tampa, Florida, is an industry-leading provider of Learning Management Systems (LMS), custom content development and learning strategy solutions.

Gowling WLG was Canadian counsel to Silversmith and Absorb with respect to this acquisition with a team that was led by Ian Palm (corporate/M&A) and that included Paul Carenza (tax) and Beth Burton and Reagan Chornoboy (financial services).
