Montreux Healthcare Fund acquires Independence Homes

On 21 January 2019, The Montreux Healthcare Fund announced that it had acquired Independence Homes Ltd through its platform asset Active Assistance.

The Montreux Healthcare Fund invests in the UK specialist care space. Active Assistance is a leading UK complex care specialist, while Independence Homes - headquartered in Caterham, Surrey - is the foremost epilepsy care provider in the UK and cares for individuals with a broad spectrum of disabilities.

Gowling WLG advised Montreux Healthcare Fund and its platform holding company Active Assistance on the acquisition.
