Gowling WLG continues to support its clients, particularly in the financing of energy projects and has advised Crédit du Nord in the financing of a wind power project worth more than €23 million. The project was developed by the French company Eco Delta, which specialises in the development and promotion of decentralised power generation projects based on renewable energies.

Crédit du Nord bank successfully completed the financing of the "Les Hauts de Lune" wind farm, located in the Centre-Val de Loire region, for a total amount of more than EUR 23 million.

Currently under construction, the "Les Hauts de Lune" wind farm, promoted by the French developer Eco Delta, should be completed in December 2020. Made up of five wind turbines, each with a capacity of 2.2 Megawatts, the "Les Hauts de Lune" wind farm will have a total capacity of 11 Megawatts.

With this new operation, Crédit du Nord strengthens its position as a solid and experienced partner in the financing of renewable energies.

Gowling WLG's team, comprising partner Antoine Pampouille and associate Aïcha Diallo, acted as lender's advisor alongside Crédit du Nord bank, which it assisted throughout the process, from the drafting and negotiation of financing documentation to the signature and financial closing.
