Alectra completes $300 million private placement of senior unsecured debentures

On February 11, 2021, Alectra Inc. announced that it had closed its private placement offering of $300 million aggregate principal amount of 1.751% Series 2021-1 senior unsecured debentures due February 11, 2031. The debentures were offered in each of the provinces of Canada on a private placement basis through a syndicate of agents that was co-led by RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and CIBC World Markets Inc.

Serving more than one million homes and businesses in Ontario's Greater Golden Horseshoe area, Alectra Utilities is now the largest municipally-owned electric utility in Canada, based on the total number of customers served.
