CAPREIT acquires Oshawa apartment portfolio

On May 5, 2021, Canadian Apartment Properties Real Estate Investment Trust ("CAPREIT") (TSX: CAR.UN) announced that it had acquired a portfolio of four apartment properties located in Oshawa, Ontario aggregating 484 residential suites for $103.7 million. Included in the suite mix are 294 two-bedroom and 11 three-bedroom apartments. Average suite size across the entire portfolio is approximately 800 square feet.
