On September 9, 2022, Samuel, Son & Co., Limited ("Samuel") announced its acquisition of RAMP Inc., an industrial automation company headquartered  in Waterloo, Ontario, which will operate as an integral part of the  Samuel Automation Solutions Group. 

Headquartered in Oakville, Ontario, Samuel was founded in 1855 and is a family-owned integrated network of metal manufacturing, value-added processing and distribution divisions with extensive operations in each of Canada, the United States and Mexico.
