Seven Gowling WLG lawyers from the firm's France and Germany offices have been named 'Best Lawyers®' in the 15th edition of the international peer review publication.

Lawyers from our Paris and Stuttgart offices are listed as 'Best Lawyers®' in France and Germany for their legal expertise, as well as their ethics and professionalism of the highest calibre. Named across six practice areas in total, our lawyers have secured eight individual rankings, covering Corporate, Real Estate, Restructuring and Insolvency, and Intellectual Property work.

Gowling WLG Stuttgart partner Andreas Woelfle (Corporate Law and Mergers and Acquisitions Law) celebrates further individual success having been recognised for his expertise in two legal categories. Paris partner Frédéric Dereux (Insolvency and Reorganisation Law) and senior associate Pierre Faure (Mergers and Acquisitions Law) are new inclusions to the list this year, having been named on the 'Best Lawyers®' and 'Ones to Watch' lists respectively.

Best Lawyers® is one of the oldest and most respected peer review publications in the legal profession. The annual list of outstanding lawyers is compiled through an unbiased legal referrals process, surveying tens of thousands of the industry's leading figures.

Recognition comes following 'Best Lawyers®' success for Gowling WLG lawyers in the UK, as 41 lawyers receive 44 rankings in total, including three 'Lawyer of the Year' awards.

Each lawyer has been recognised for market-leading expertise in their specialist area. The full list of those named in the France and Germany guides is as follows:
