Jasleen Chahal Associate

Jasleen Chahal

Jasleen Chahal is an associate lawyer in Gowling WLG's Toronto office and a member of the firm's Intellectual Property Group.

Jasleen earned her law degree at Western University where she completed the specialized areas of concentration in intellectual property and information technology law.

In addition to her studies, Jasleen volunteered as an intellectual property caseworker at Western University's Community Legal Services, where she provided legal services and advice to libraries and small business ventures. Jasleen also participated in the 2016 Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot and served on the executive committees of both the Western Intellectual Property Association and the South Asian Law Students' Association.

Prior to attending law school, Jasleen completed an MSc in Physiology at the University of Toronto. Her graduate studies focused on diabetes research and culminated with a peer-reviewed publication in Pancreas. Jasleen obtained her honours BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo.
